We finally have an official trailer for the long-awaited sequel to the blockbuster movie Avatar. Here is the video, so take a look at it and let us know what you think.
Avatar: The Way of Water
The film has been in the works for 13 years since the original Avatar movie was released in 2009. Sam Worthington plays Jake Sully, a native Na’vi married to native Na’vi Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). Who has five children with him. After he becomes a fully accepted Na’vi. We will be taken deep into the underwater world of Pandora in The Way of Water a decade after the events of the first film and expect to see even more spectacular visual effects since this film takes place ten years after the events of the first film.
It has been described as “the most immersive 3D experience ever witnessed” by James Cameron, the director of Avatar: The Way of Water which he directed again.
The filmmaker said recently at CinemaCon that he wanted Pandora to be something special. The shots were created to be viewed on the largest screens, with the highest resolution, and in the most immersive 3D possible. Continuing to push the boundaries of cinema, we set out to make a film that is both innovative and compelling. I think we were able to pull it off successfully. As soon as you see the film in December, I am hoping that you will be able to agree with me.”
Released Date
Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald will return from the first film. And Sigourney Weaver will return as well. But in a different role to the one she played in the first film. As part of the sequel, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel, and CJ Jones will also make an appearance.
There will be only one release of the movie in theaters on December 16, 2022. Which is the final release date.
