Tatiana Maslany Childhood & Early Life

Her parents were Dan and Renate Maslany, and she was born on September 22, 1985 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Woodworkers are her father’s profession, while translators are her mother’s. She has two younger brothers, Daniel and Michael, and is the oldest of her siblings.
As a result of her Polish, German, Romanian, Austrian, and Ukrainian ancestry, she is familiar with a variety of languages and cultures.
Her elementary school was French immersion, so she learned French before learning English. She was also taught German by her mother and grandparents when she was a child.
